Highway to Hell

Ashamed to see that the last post was in May 2018 !

Bear not in mind that riding wasn't happening, it was - but admittedly sparse. Life has been on its course and all is well. Learning new ways with the new arrangement, i.e. to say with a life partner by side. So yeah, riding is on and shall be - INSHALLAH

Streel Glide Special's
Few months back it used to be two Harley Davidson Breakouts riding in sync, then, somehow something happened and now its two Harley Davidson Street Glide Special's riding in sync albeit both riders being constant. Booom - this was out of nowhere, no planning no nothing and here it is - a new horse. What significance it bears at this point in life is nobody's guess - but with Lady Gill in support, this feels good. I feel rejuvenated.

All I know of is that when Breakout happened, my mind was on Street Glide but what Harley dealership offered as a test bike - was a rickety rackety assembly of parts; hardly a bike anyone would want to spend that kind of money on. Hence, it was the Breakout. But as they say what is meant to be, will be; buggers simply postponed the sale. It had to be Street Glide Special with Milwaukee eight 114 engine, the best Harley has to offer this day with all the updated gadgetry that comes with it. This machine is no less than a car on two wheels if one speaks of ride comfort and panel features laid out for the rider. Music, Navigation, Cruise Control - its all there.

So just wanting to share a brief moment that I felt on yesterdays ride to nowhere. Beautiful sunny day with chilling temperatures, AC DC track - Highway to Hell as music, nice cruise speed, single road by the canal with minimal traffic - it was no less than a cruising experience than on any of the best highways of the world. Simply loved it.

So here's to another phase of riding on another Harley.

Cheers !
