the ride that was to be

yea the ride that was to be....was it a luggage rack test ride ? was it a ride for pleasure ? was it a lunch ride to Rampur Bushahr ?

They say life is a bitch, that seldom things go as planned. Do I agree ?

enroute Rampur Bushahr

Me and Malvinder started early so as to avoid the jungle madness. Avoid we did, and at our leisure made way to Masohbra; abode to Punia Hospitality Inc.. Second half of the day was spent at ease trying out the local delicacies and admiring some fine lovebird spots. Later was just a guy evening - drinking what guys drink, smoking what guys smoke, talking what guys talk, eating what guys cook. And a day well spent.

in mornings

Next morning was to be an early ride to few more hundred meters above the sea level, but then again, it was a guy morning. The ride met the same fate as do all plans made in enlightenment of the past evening. Eased into the morning and decided to head back instead - with luggage and everything -  giving impression to guards that we gone for good. Alas !

In 4 kilometers, no soon we hit NH22, we turn towards Kufri instead of Shimla and just keep riding. A chai break at Theog and the mood had changed. The machines and their response to the twisty's, had taken over us, as we happily succumbed to that wicked desire for MORE. Rode to Narkanda and kept going until it was time to lunch at Rampur Bushahr. Had one of its kind chicken dish - the one where you just throw boiled chicken in gravy, and its ready - that kind ? and we just rolled back. There was still light in the day as we returned to a confused guard at the gate; luggage UNTOUCHED.

in evenings
Another guy evening, guy drink, guy smoke, guy talk, guy food. A day even well spent.

So were we testing Harley luggage rack ? Were we riding for lunch to be had, only at Rampur Bushahr ? Were we riding for our wicked desire ?

I seriously got no name for this ride...upto you.

I think I saw you guys at narkanda...around 11 am...we were coming back from Hatu and stopped at narkanda for breakfast. Always a great sight to see fellow riders rumbling through..
